Amazingly clear explanation and data. Thank you. We as voters should make sure the policy moves in a direction that enhances adoption of cheaper electrification. A policy that favors fossils not only has higher costs currently (higher foreign dependencies and volatility) but also creates huge future costs via CO2 emissions.

Jan, fascinating stuff. Do you have the chart of retail prices vs hours gas sets the price? Would be interesting to see if the very strong signal in wholesale markets partially survives in retail or is wholly attenuated by the other factors you cover.
